Part II – Master having difficult conversations with Emotional Intelligence  (Participation in Session 1 is a prerequisite)

Having difficult conversations in the workplace is an essential skill for effective communication and team dynamics. The session will focus on navigating difficult conversations in the workplace with empathy, clarity, and effectiveness, fostering a culture of open communication and mutual respect within your team or organization.

Great leaders are aware of their capabilities and their blind spots, and they continuously develop themselves to maximize the former and minimize the latter. The initial step is to understand how you naturally lead.  That insight will allow you to be conscientious about your employees and how to relate to and inspire them individually.

Emotional intelligence may seem like a trendy buzzword, but it goes beyond that. It's actually an essential skill for organizational success.  Data shows that higher emotional intelligence in the workplace leads to better team performance. In this highly interactive session, we will dive into the four main components of Emotional Intelligence which include self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management.

  1. Self-Awareness: The ability to not only understand your strengths and weaknesses but to recognize your emotions and the effect they have on you and your team's performance
  2. Self-Management: The ability to apply your emotions to tasks like thinking and problem-solving
  3. Social Awareness: The ability to recognize others' emotions and the dynamics in play within your organization.
  4. Relationship Management: Refers to your ability to influence, coach, and mentor others and resolve conflict effectively.
